Our Services
Essencial Services
A large number of young people and vulnerable people in the West Island need daily support for various reasons such as homelessness, addiction, mental health, social exclusion, violence and sexual health. AJOI is made up of 13 outreach street workers who work in parks, shopping centers, schools, organizations and any other appropriate environment with the aim of creating links, offering to listen and providing support to people who show need. Day after day, they build relationships of trust.
An entertainment team also offers the opportunity for young people in the area to expend their energy during indoor and outdoor sporting events. It allows participants to socialize with other young people in the region and fill their schedule with dynamic and enriching activities.
It is thanks to a non-judgmental approach that outreach street workers and animators are accepted by young people and vulnerable people. They help them, step by step, to get out of precariousness and idleness. AJOI is committed to renewing itself and offering opportunities in the area of sports, prevention workshops, awareness campaigns, intervention services, and more.
